Syn Hing Yung Cafe, Pending

Clearance told us about siang siang corner at pending, the one with Aunty Mary's Laksa. the thing is when we reach there, it was closed, too bad for us. so without going home without any review we ended up here. this laksa, i would say 1st of all, the taukeynio is so stingy on the soup. it was so dry that u feel like adding more soup to it.( see the pic, u know what we mean) the quantity is not that satisfying also. but indeed it is a complete laksa. either way i dont really like this laksa, but to be fair we will review it too. Gravy is kinda good, only its too little. the coconut milk taste was there and so as the laksa flavor.the bee hoon is well boiled, eggs are prefect, chicken strip as usual prawns are well balanced and fresh. what more to say if u eat it by yourself!! hahah. the result are as follows.

Combo Laksa, Pending

located just beside Kuching Park hotel, we consider this is one of the laksa place that you shall not miss. the smell of the laksa can be smelt from few shops away, it is strong indeed. The chicken strip, (well, too bad, its chicken strip tho...) is baked, so it looks a little bit like chicken floss. The prawns are superb, very fresh and solid. by quantity, its worth the price, but there is 1 thing that is very very expensive, ABALONE LAKSA...RM128! thats my very 1st time seeing abalone laksa. well anyway, overall it is a competitive laksa. its good, worth, nice, tasty, blablabla, anything u can say about a laksa. taste it for yourself and leave us speechless!! hahaha...results are as follows.

Min Joo Kee,Jalan Ang Cheng Ho

We heard about the history of this laksa before. long time ago it was a good laksa, but seriously not today anymore. maybe due to price hikes on all items, causes food to lost quality due to 'cut cost'. The soup...good, not bad. thick, salty, and not that stingy too. Eggs...this time, this guy has it. all he has it man...its complete. fresh and well balanced prawns, as usual, chicken strips and other additional stuffs. the Bee Hoon...ok this one is good too. its well boiled, not too stiff and not too soft and also its odorless. Taste it for yourself...and let us know ok?! the results are as follows:
