I wonder if this one same as the one i use to eat at tabuan jaya siang siang only. Cos she no longer sell but we call her anna laksa. But she said i can find her aunty at ban hock road. But i never get to know the coffeeshop name. Though it looks the same with chicken thigh only and egg and prawns

miri i don't know about their laksa but heard the best at hospital area.
But the curry rice at the market is SUPERB hehee
for laksa lover, try the one at the coffee shop directly behind and opposite road of Siang Siang Tabuan Jaya.

Best Laksa in Kuching so far is at 3rd Mile Golden Arch - Garden Laksa-always consistent, great taste and service is very fast. Recently, packed laksa to bring to KL, after 2 days in the fridge, still in god condition after heating the laksa up.
only item missing is coriander leaves! If you want the best laksa make sure you go to Golden Arch Garden Laksa.
check this out. there is a malaysian restaurant call laksa malaysian cafe in Artesia California. the owner is from kuching. ( his dad used to sell pork at the old rex) His cafe has laksa sarawak. It was so mice to have a taste of home here in California. www.laksamalaysiancafe.com

first, i'ma die hard Kuching laksa lover!! big support to this blog.
My comment: it's kind of hard to rank who is best coz each store got it's own special way to cook laksa, i love them all.. BUT.. some time when a service person from laksa store act very sombong.. i'll stop support them even doe their laksa is good.

I usually go to Tiang's Cafe at Bormill area. behind digi building, next row with compuway. They use Barret laksa paste. The laksa paste = has ggod instructions, so I "tapau" back to Kl and cook here for my friends. :)
Another place selling delicious laksa is next to Longhouse hotel. Chong Choon Cafe.
in Kl - if craving - Ikano (comfort food stall near ikea entrance) and lastest Borneo Rainforest at Sunway
havent been in kuching for a few years now ... but laksa was always my favourite and we used to head every sunday morning to golden arch by the huge roundabout / flyover now? ... that was always the best for me ...
For what i known about famous laksa Paste in Kuching area are oldest laksa maker named "single swift "(don't confused with double swift, they are different) and Nonya laksa paste. I have bought a few package to do my own cooking. The smell and taste of both are delicious and great. Believe on me, you will have the same good taste at home as well as you eaten on the stall

Recently, i visited my far relative in Sarawak and somehow, i was brought to a stall selling laksa and kolomee at Jalan Nanas, Happy Garden area at night. The stall was operating from the house ..i tried and surprisingly,the kolomee and the laksa are superb...
i never expect such a food standard at such a 'Ulu' (meaning secluded) place!!..Recommend for all the food lovers!!
