WE HERE WOULD LIKE TO RECRUIT 2 NEW LAKSA REVIEWERS. ITS ALREADY UNI SEASON AND WE THINK THAT WE CANT UPDATE READERS AS MUCH AS BEFORE. BUT WE WONT LET YOU DOWN, WE STILL INSIST THAT WE WANT TO KEEP U UPDATED. SO WE HAD PLAN THIS. REMEMBER...ITS MORE TO SATISFACTION JOB AND NOT TO GET EXTRA INCOME! WE DONT PAY U TO EAT AND WE DONT PAY FOR YOUR FOOD...!
THE REQUIREMENTS ARE AS BELOW:

2-POSSESED A DIGITAL CAMERA TO TAKE LAKSA PICTURES.
3-TASTEBUD REQUIREMENTS-
PREFER SALTY LAKSA (THE ACTUAL LAKSA IS SALTY)MUST BE ABLE TO EAT ALL CONTENTS OF THE LAKSAINCLUDING PRAWNS, CHICKEN, EGG, ETC.
4-CURRENT LOCATION MUST ONLY BE IN KUCHING.

i am surprised to see a post with all the links which are think shows the persons mentality. you should trace this person and make a police report before he/she makes further post.
as much as i would like to apply to join you, my travelling does not permit me to.
btw, you may like to review a few other places that sell laksa too.
1. green heights - the corner shop next to wisma hock peng(weida office)
2. the original laksa at min heng - carpenter street. the first time i tasted it was sometime in 1971 and current stall owner is the second generation.mild gravy and great "kopi o" too.
3. the laksa stall at the coffee shop below kuching hotel(next to harbour view hotel). this stall used to sell behind the rex cinema.
4. the corner shop next to j&j tabuan jaya/tabuan stutong. think the shop is uncle cat or fat cat.
5. the house/shop opposite jkr depot at 5 1/2 mile, though i did't take to it but some claim that it is great.
6. corner shop at green hill - green hill corner? you'll like this as it is salty.
7. "lau ya keng"-carpenter street. sold by an elderly couple without curry as most people tend to add nowadays.

the best laksa i ate was somewhere after wisma satok (if you're from city centre) and before Satok bridge. the owner turn his house into a laksa cafe, so its not at the shoplot. its only open aerly morning until 9-10am. always full with customers.what special about their laksa is the freshness of the prawn and ingredients that they use. the noodle just fine...neither too soft nor hard. most important is the 'kuah'. the seasoning just perfect. the taste of freshly prepared coconut milk is a wake-up call for working customers. i like their 'sambal belacan'. its perfectly match with the gravy. i forget the direction there (my first time), but i really reccommend laksa crew to go try it out. sure luv it!
